Strategy: My favourite moveset for Snivy is Leech Seed, Leaf Storm, Coil or Leaf Blade, Subsitute (TM only). Obviously you're going to want to evolve Snivy before you try any competitive battles, but keeping Snivy from evolving until later does let it learn moves faster. Snivy does have speed on its side, so only a few EVs should be invested in speed. I'd say put some in special attack because of Leaf Storm, but you may want to delete Coil for Leaf Blade, to avoid lowering your stats too much in battle.
